bury me up in the mountains

So I have clearly failed in my attempt to actually post about my reading (or... anything). BUT I did still read a lot this year, and will probably not manage to finish anything else in the next... day, so here is my reading list for 2016!

FYI: I didn't separate out comics/graphic novels/etc. because I am lazy. Also this year I started a system of reading multiple books at once and sort of cycling through them, which I think has actually been really helpful for me, but also a) shows that I have zero ability to focus on one thing at a time and b) this has become increasingly crazy as I've gone on. At this point my cycle is: 1) general nonfiction, 2) biographical nonfiction, 3) standalone novel 1, 4) short fiction/poetry, 5) series novel, 6) standalone novel 2, 7) graphic novel, 8) comics, 9) pop tie-in book, 10) foreign language (ie Italian) book. So, in conclusion: I'm completely ridiculous.

And even though I didn't do it on my own, let me know in the comments if you want me to talk/answer any questions about any of these books. Because I'm on break from school right now so whatever!

Also, fyi, I finally wrote a couple posts about Mongolia, here (general update) and here (on the Mongolian language).
